eprofile: van she

Van She are one of the most talented bands in Australia. Their live shows are incredibly tight and the musical output is heavenly, and something of an obsession of mine. The guys have an ACE new single out NOW called "Cat & The Eye," and that long awaited debut album will follow early next year, with a new single in February. To celebrate, Tomek, Michael, Matt and Nicholas as Van She feature in the first eProfile.

E-BUY VAN SHE

Jean Claude Van Muscle.

I spoke to a couple of very talented boys earlier today. They wanted to say hello…

Gotta say that no matter how many times I chat to any of the guys from Van She, I still turn into such a gushing fanboy. I was pretty nervous about this one because I’ve never actually interviewed any of them before, only face-to-face conversations of me waxing nonsensical, scaring them all after a gig, so lucky their gorgeous drummer Tomek Archer was an absolute gentlemen and - listening back to the whole thing - I didn’t sound too ridiculous. Hopefully.

Full interviews online next week.

Until then, why not read about Van She in the eProfile, or check out my review on the old site of the debut album from Muscles, Guns Babes Lemonade?

  1. Kirkland Says:

I really, really like Van She. Next to Cut Copy (who I am really obsessed with) they’re one of my favourite new bands. I’ve not got much of their stuff though. Sex City is my favourite.

  2. Adem Says:

Paul you’ll be very pleased to know that I’m speaking to Cut Copy tonight, and that’s another interview I’ll have up on here for download soon.

I still have to get a mix cd out to you and I think I will throw on some other Van She and Vanshe Tech remixes…
