eprofile: van she

Van She are one of the most talented bands in Australia. Their live shows are incredibly tight and the musical output is heavenly, and something of an obsession of mine. The guys have an ACE new single out NOW called "Cat & The Eye," and that long awaited debut album will follow early next year, with a new single in February. To celebrate, Tomek, Michael, Matt and Nicholas as Van She feature in the first eProfile.

Sadness.

I cannot get over how mortified I am about Heath Ledger. I can’t stop thinking about it.

I actually had stuff planned earlier this week to blog about today, but I’m just too sad. I cannot believe he’s dead. I’m just so upset, so angry with the way people have been treating his death that I want to scream. And don’t get me started on those fucking cunts at the WBC who plan on picketing Heath’s memorial service with signs proclaiming he is in hell because he played a gay character in Brokeback Mountain. It just makes me feel so sick, so revolted by human kind.

I read a rather well written piece on Heath’s passing, which was penned by Star Jones earlier today. I felt very strongly for a lot of the points she has raised. Although the category topics at the beginning of the article tend to contradict most of the points Star has made, I’m fairly sure she had nothing to do with their placement.

Also, I’m really surprised with Perez Hilton and the way he’s been treating the situation with a great deal of respect over on his blog: “We didn’t use those pics [of Michelle Williams and Matilda touching down in America]. Nor did we use the pics of Ledger’s body being taken out of his apartment. And we won’t use pics from outside the funeral parlor. Hopefully others will follow suit.” I do not always agree with a lot of things Perez says or the way he handles news items on his blog, but I log onto his site at least 5 days a week, and I am thankful I don’t have to see those heartbreaking pictures on a website that I do visit almost daily. So thank you Perez, for this sad fan, something as small as that means a lot.

On top of all this emotional madness, I’ve also battled a between 39 and 41 degree Celsius temperature for the last few days so I’m sure that hasn’t helped much. Anyway, I’ll have something that’s not depressing to talk about next week…

I’m with ya, buddy. I picked up a couple of the magazines with him on the cover which were rushed out yesterday (pics on Chart Rigger). Very sad.

I was literally speechless for about 10 minutes after I heard the news. People dying before their time always affects me.

Gibson is a total cunt. It wouldn’t even have been funny if it had been about some total bastard. It was just lame.

And that fucking church group make my blood boil every time I see them on TV. Why can’t someone blow them all up to buggery? They do not deserve to live.
